Due to the extreme weather we have experienced an unprecedented level of tracked vehicle hire for applications as diverse as site access for communication companies, pipe testing companies and farmers as well as maintaining continuation of our own projects on remote access sites.

Due to increased production we have now doubled our ROV storage facility.
October
We installed and commisioned our new full size test tank. The tank will allow full sized Pipe Inspection
Vehicles (PIVs) and Remote Operated
Vehicles (ROVs) to be checked for
bouyancy, Maneuverability and sensor
functions before deployment to project
sites.
September
Our new pressure chamber has been installed allowing us to depth rate individual components up to 500 metres
August
WSSG reached new heights in the Pyrenees this summer working on a joint venture with EDF France and Advitam France to inspect pipelines in the mountains.
July
Completed five months of cooling pipe refurbishment and stabilisation utilising our unique and patented internal pipe repair system.
June
One of our confined space team worked 100 feet in the air to clean and inspect a victorian water tower.
May
Added 3 new vans to our fleet of vehicles to accomodate the increase in demand for pipe inspection works.
April
WSSG carried out a major pipe inspection in India which highlighted the need for urgent rstructural repairs.
March
Confined space teams deployed in tunnel running under the rivers Dee and Mersey, to carry out pipe longevity NDT work.
February
Commencement of assembly of the new modular PIV control 'brains', as part of the commisioning of three new fully modular Pipe Inspection Vehicles (PIV's).
January
Commisioned ultra-high power steerable four wheel drive hydraulic crawler. This will allow the accurate positioning of numerous cleaining, cutting and inspection tools within water filled and dry pipelines.
